Users have been asking for it, and in Android 11, they received it. Users are finally able to schedule Dark Mode at a specific time. You don’t have to do it manually anymore and waste your time.

Even if you’re in a hurry enabling Dark Mode is easy. If you ever want to go back to turn it on manually, simply follow these steps to turn it off.

How to Turn Dark Mode On or Off at a Scheduled Time

Even if you’re not very tech-savvy, you can still schedule dark mode for the time you want. You can do this by going to Settings, followed by Display. The Dark Theme option is going to be at the top. Once you select it, you’ll see the options for the start and end time that, by default, will be set from 10pm to 6am. Tap on these times to add the times you want dark mode to turn on and off.

You also have the option of enabling dark mode from sunset to sunrise. This can be very helpful, especially when the time change comes around. But some users prefer to have it on always since it reduces eyestrain. If that’s what you want to do and have dark mode on always, you can simply toggle on the option after going to Settings > Display.

Conclusion

I’ve always used dark mode since it is always easier on the eyes. Once you start using it, you might never go back to light mode. Do you always have dark mode enabled on your Android device?
